When I came across the listing for this house I thought to myself this looks like a really cool place to go, so I went ahead and booked it for my 40th birthday gathering. While driving to the house I started to wonder what I got us into....but then we arrived and it was beautiful. The house is awesome. The pictures online look nice but in person it’s so much better! Every room you walked into was inviting. Having 5 fireplaces in the house was nice, we kept them (URL HIDDEN) least the living room. The house is big with plenty of room for everyone and pretty much everything you need. The staff was attentive and quick to respond to our needs. Tiffany took us out to feed the animals in the afternoon, that was a fun experience to have goats eat out of the palm of your hand. This is a great house to just relax, enjoy each other’s company and take in all the beauty that surrounds you!
Lockwood’s Ranch hosted our group of 15 for a yoga retreat this past weekend. What a perfect space for us. Tiffany cleared out the entire living room of furniture so that we could use it as a practice space, and was attentive to our every need throughout the weekend. The bathrooms and showers outside were a big help for our large group, as was the well-stocked kitchen. The property itself was quiet and peaceful. A few of us even saw shooting stars in the night sky! Since the weather was quite temperamental, it was great to be able to control the thermostat. The only thing I would advise people to bring is lots of moisturizer, as Frazier Park is a dry climate. Beautiful space and excellent host!
Great place! Beautiful views. The host, Tiffany, was very responsive and very accommodating throughout the booking process. The check-in process was smooth and fast. The instructions for our stay were very specific, which we really appreciated given the limited phone reception in the area. The kitchen was complete with all the appliances. We used the gas grill which worked great, and Tiffany ensured that we had enough propane for our weekend stay. For our large group, it was a very comfortable place. The home was beautiful! We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.
Memorable getaway from the city! We went a group of 5 families and stayed the weekend. We were greeted By Tiffany and Pete who were very helpful and were willing to show us around the property. The house was clean and newly remodeled. Everything is labeled and easy to find. Pete is available to radio if you have any questions. The farm was the big hit with the kids. They loved feeding the animals early morning and spending time near the barn. Tiffany was very patient with the kids and allowed them to spend time with the animals. It was an overall a great experience!! Thanks Tiffany
Beautiful, peaceful, short drive, safe area, clean and lots of space! The pictures do not do this beautiful ranch justice. Lockwoods Ranch is a gem. Our church leadership team stayed the last few days for our annual leadership retreat. By the way, October is a great month to visit, 70 degree weather! They have a large common area that is perfect for meeting with large groups. There is many places around the ranch to sit and relax. Every bedroom has a charm to it. The house is clean, fully stoked and staff is a call away. There are fireplaces in almost every room making for a beautiful night-time fire. The owner, Tiffany, was very supportive and responsive to us. The staff is amazing! Pete went above and beyond to help us when we were in need. Even the kids loved Pete. Three things we didn’t expect was; one, there are beautiful animals. They have horses, goats, lamas, pigs and chickens. Two, there’s a shooting range and we were able to do a little shooting. Thirdly, we were able to take a peaceful and fun team hike. Pros: There is more than expected to do, it’s clean, the staff is great and there’s lots of quite, peaceful space to relax. Cons: absolutely none! If you need to get away and not travel too far this is a gem in Frazier Park!
If you really want to escape the big city and truly relax, then Lockwood’s Ranch is the place to go. We had a family of 12 stay here during Labor Day Weekend and it was truly an amazing experience that we will never forget. Pros: 1. Clean 2. So much Space 3. History 4. Farm Animals! 5. All the basic amenities such as BBQ, Woodfire, Kitchen Supplies were provided so you do not have to worry about it. 6. Amazing onsite staff who was there to help out anytime you needed. 7. The amazing off road vehicle TOUR provided by staff. NO ONE HAD TO ACTUALLY WALK. CONS: NOT ENOUGH TIME TO RELAX! BRING LOTS OF LOTION! This is the place for relaxing, kids to experience the outdoors and away from their electronics, and the best way to catch up with your family without outside distractions. I highly recommend this place!
